As pioneers in innovative assisted bathing design and manufacturing, Reval are now leading the way in health and hygiene technology. Very much the innovators, from design to manufacture, outstanding products are produced to deliver premium value and regulatory assurances.
Providing greater patient safety, maximum ease of use and accessibility for carers, and an unsurpassed end-user bathing experience, always drives this commitment.
Compromise isn’t in the company’s vocabulary, which is why Reval are so often selected to work with the countries leading luxury elderly care providers, such as Ashmere Homes.
With a specific focus on providing a pampering experience for residents, Reval put together an assisted bathing spa suite for Ashmere Homes newest purpose built residential and dementia luxury living care home, Heanor Park.
The handcrafted Transcare bath selected benefits from being crafted in marine grade fibreglass, which is the highest quality material, not used as a standard material by most other manufacturers.
Whilst not compromising on the very essence of what a spa experience means, the full range of sensory treatment options where chosen. These were HydroSpa, a targeted muscle stimulation and massage system, AromaSpa, a relaxing or invigorating bathing experience depending on which essential oils are used, and ColourSpa to create a stimulating ambience through the use of coloured lighting for psychological and physiological benefits. Completing the whole sensory experience AudioSpa streams selected music to create the ultimate in a relaxing Jacuzzi bath.
A state of the art discreet and almost invisible Reval patient transfer system was installed. The transfer system didn’t detract from the luxury feel of the spa facility, rather it ensures regardless of mobility or cognitive function that all residents can access the luxury of the facility.
Such quality is at the very essence of why Reval baths are so enjoyed; they are simply built to provide a solution without compromising on comfort and user experience.
Jason Ashman, Managing Director at Reval says:
“Assisted bathing conjures up many images, for most the image will be of a very institutional environment that is task focused. That’s not us and it isn’t what our customers want either. They are looking for a positive experience. Bathing is usually a relaxing experience, there’s no reason that should end because an individual has mobility or cognitive constraints.
“Resident wellbeing is an absolute focus for Ashmere Homes. They work hard to make every resident feel at home and we’re delighted to play a central role in ensuring every resident can take the time for the pamper they deserve.”
Reval’s vision is to transform the lives of those people living with health and mobility challenges through sustainable wellbeing. By promoting hygiene and rehabilitative solutions that focus on the safe and dignified needs of each individual Reval products go way beyond expectations.
Backed up with a guaranteed quality of design and build the lifetime value of each product speaks for itself.
Jason continues to say:
“Our business isn’t just assisted bathing products, it’s about maintaining a quality of life for individuals in the care of our customers. The last thing we would want is an out of order bathroom. Being ISO9001/2015 certified our strict codes of conduct ensure products meet stringent quality standards and legal requirements such as BS6920 water bylaws, CE certification, WRAS Category 5 compliance and anti-scald TMV3 (D08) certification and approved components. The attention to detail in every area of what we do provides true and lasting value for all our customers.”
